Under the sponsorship of the World Health Organization (WHO), the IMPE-Quy Nhon held the training course on Diagnostic Test of Helminthiasis for medical staff of provincial malaria centres/centers for preventive medicine and some provincial general hospitals of 11 Central - Western Highland provinces (Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Binh Thuan, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Da Nang, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam).
Under the sponsorship of the World Health Organization (WHO), the IMPE-Quy Nhon held the training course on Diagnostic Test of Helminthiasis for medical staff of 10 provinces of Central Vietnam from 9 to 12 August 2011.
Implemeting the plan of the long-term epidemiology training programme 2010, on 25-30 October 2010, the Department of Preventive Medicine (MoH) in collaboration with the Vietnam's Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) have held "Training course on Communicable disease detection, prevention and control in emergency settings" for FETP fellows and external participants responsible for emergency response at provincial level in Central Vietnam at Hoang Yen Hotel, Quy Nhon City.
The Dengue Project between Vietnam Army Medical Units of Army Medical Department (Ministry of Defence) and the Australian Army Malaria Institute has been conducted in the period of 5 years (2005-2010). From 12 to 13 of August 2010, at the ArmyHospital 87, the workshop on the result of Dengue Project was held between the partners of the Vietnamese Army Epidemic Prevention Institute and the Australian Army Malaria Institute.
On June 7, 2010, Dr. Nguyen Thi Xuyen, Deputy Minister of Health and some of the leaderships of departments/bureaus directly under the Ministry of Health (MoH) such as the department of medical examination and treatment management, the department of financial plan, etc. visited and met with the Institute of Malariology, Parasitology and Entomology Quy Nhon (IMPE-Quy Nhon), the Quy Hoa National Leprosy Dermatology Hospital and some of units directly under Binh Dinh Health Service.
