Implementing the Decree No.45/ND-CP dated 18th April 2006 of the Government on Gratitude Movement, Document No. 2237/UBND/VX dated 14th June 2013 of the Chairman of Provincial People's Committee of Binh Dinh on contribution and establishment of Gratefulness Fund, on the occasion of the 66th War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the IMPE-Quy Nhon has carried out the gratitude activities for people deserving well of the revolution and their relation at Vinh Kim commune, Vinh Thanh province.
On 14 March 2013 the Ministry of Health's (MoH) task force led by Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Thanh Long-Deputy Minister visited and worked with the IMPE-Quy Nhon. Accompanying the Deputy Minister were the leaderships and representatives of MoH's Departments of Organization & Personnel, Preventive Medicine, Health care Management, Planning & Finance, Medical Equipments & Projects and the MoH's Office.
In 2012, the malaria situation were rather complicated in the Central - Western Highland region. The statistics of the regional provinces showed that malaria cases in 11 months of 2012 in the Central - Western Highland region increased by 7.55% in comparison with the same period last year (15,040/16,176), with the Central Coastal area +5.93% (7296/7973) higher, and the West Highlands +9.28% up (7744/8203).
On 11 July, 2012, the Ministry of Health (MoH) heldthe official appointment announcement ceremony of new IMPE-QN's Director Dr. Nguyen Van Chuong in place of Dr. Trieu Nguyen Trung, who is of an age to discontinue the management and finish his directorial term of the Institute.
Under the direction of the Ministry of Health (MoH), the IMPE-QN leadership appointed its mission team to take charge of distributing 1,000 insecticide-treated bed-nets to the people in Ba Dien commune, Ba To district, Quang Ngai province for the purpose ofcontinuously reinforcingthe control of the strange skin disease in this area.
