Dengue fever on the rise in summer (07/24/2017)

Over 50,000 dengue fever cases have been reported nationwide, with 15 deaths so far this year, according to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases.

The country has recorded several Zika cases in some cities and provinces in the south where the rainy season is creating favourable conditions for mosquitoes to develop.
